Amelia Earhart was the the 16th woman to be issued a pilot's license, and the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean. Earhart mysteriously disappeared during one of her flights, but is remembered for her bravery and skills as a pilot.

Scientist Rosalind Franklin is best known for her work with X-ray diffraction and the initial discovery of the DNA structure. While Franklin was the one who made the discovery, it was not until after her life that she received full credit for her work.

Alice Paul dedicated her life to fight for women’s suffrage and equal rights. She introduced the first Equal Rights Amendment to Congress in 1923, and continued to work towards passing bills for women's rights throughout her life. Our VOTE scarf is a perfect symbol of everything she worked for.
